Missourians for Justice · Last revised: September 24, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website of Missourians for Justice (“MFJ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), our online signup forms, and our SMS/MMS text messaging program (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, submitting your information through a signup form, or opting in to our text messaging program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services or opt in to the text messaging program.
When you opt in, you consent to join a recurring SMS/MMS text messaging program that will provide alerts, donation requests, updates, and other important information from Missourians for Justice to the mobile phone number you provide. Messages may include, without limitation, campaign updates, event invitations and reminders, volunteer opportunities, fundraising and donation requests, calls to action, and other notices MFJ believes may be of interest to you.
Msg and data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies.
You opt in to the text messaging program by entering your mobile phone number and checking the opt-in box on our signup form, or by otherwise affirmatively consenting to receive text messages from MFJ. By opting in, you represent that:
MFJ does not charge you for receiving text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates for messages sent to and received from our program. You are responsible for any such charges. Message frequency varies and depends on the number of alerts, updates, and requests we send. MFJ does not guarantee the exact number of messages you will receive.
For help with the text messaging program, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us, or contact us by email at info@missouriansforjustice.com. You may also reply STOP at any time to end your participation.
You may opt out of the text messaging program at any time. To stop receiving text messages from MFJ, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message you receive from us. After you send the opt-out request, you will receive one confirming message stating that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to your number unless you opt in again.
Opting out of the text messaging program will not opt you out of emails, postal mail, or other communications from MFJ that you have separately consented to receive. You may also contact us at info@missouriansforjustice.com to request removal of your phone number from our text messaging program.
The text messaging program is compatible with most major U.S. wireless carriers. We cannot guarantee delivery of text messages on all carriers or on all devices, and we are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability, your device settings, and factors outside of our control.
Your use of the Services and our collection and use of your information, including your mobile phone number and opt-in consent, are governed by our Privacy Policy. SMS opt-in information and consent are not rented, sold, or shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
You agree not to:
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The date these Terms were last revised is identified at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the text messaging program or use of the Services after we post revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
We may also suspend or terminate the text messaging program, or your participation in it, at any time and for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. If we discontinue the program, we will attempt to notify subscribers by text message.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MFJ disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MFJ will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Services or the text messaging program, including delayed, failed, or undelivered messages, or any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
